Dr.

Scott Tannehill

 came to the valley in June 2009. He completed his Residency in

Radiation Oncology

 at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology and has over ten years of experience.

Dr. Tannehill

 was Assistant Professor of Human Oncology at the University of Wisconsin for over five years and specialized in gynecologic and

breast cancer treatment

. During this time, he oversaw the oncology curriculum for the University of Wisconsin Medical School. He was also invited to present on his research and treatment techniques at universities and national meetings in the U.S. and abroad, and was nationally recognized for his expertise in various brachytherapy (internal radiation) techniques.

Dr. Scott Tannehill also spent a year working in Melbourne Australia at the invitation of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He moved to Arizona upon his return from Australia and accepted a faculty position at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Dr. Tannehill specializes in breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, and tumors of the brain and spinal cord. He has been listed by "Best Doctors Inc." since 2003.
