Scott Tannehill

 came to the valley in June 2009. He is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology and has over twelve years of specialty-practice experience.

Dr. Tannehill

 Dr. Tannehill has held faculty positions at several top-tier universities, including the University of Wisconsin, the University of Florida, and the University of Arizona. At these institutions, in addition to providing full-time patient care, Dr. Tannehill served as a medical educator and researcher with distinction. Dr. Scott Tannehill also spent a sabbatical year working in Melbourne, Australia, at the invitation of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Dr. Tannehill continues to hold the academic title of Clinical Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology with the University of Arizona, and continues to educate medical trainees from that institution.

Breast cancer has been Dr. Tannehill's specialty focus for many years. He has extensive clinical expertise in brachytherapy and in intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT). He has been invited to present on his techniques and experience both nationally and internationally. His research interests include the use of modern image-guided techniques and respiratory-gating for breast cancer.

Dr. Tannehill has been listed by "Best Doctors Inc." since 2003, and was ranked as one of Arizona's "Top Docs" one year after moving to the state. Dr. Tannehill sees patients at our Scottsdale and North Phoenix offices.
