Dr.

Gregory Maggass

 is a board certified

radiation oncologist

 and past medical director of the East Valley Center, Arizona Oncology Services. After completing residency at the University of Southern California Medical Center in 1989, he began his practice here in the East Valley caring for women with Breast Cancer. He joined the Arizona Breast Cancer Specialists in October of 2009.

Dr. Maggass has been a leader in breast brachytherapy and has extensive experience using MammoSite, Contura and Savi devices and the multiplanar technique. Breast brachytherapy has been a special interest of his since his residency in radiation oncology.

Dr. Maggass is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology and a Fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology. He has participated in clinical research since moving to Arizona and has co-authored several research papers. His clinical skills have earned him "Top Doc" recognition repeatedly and the national "Best Doctor's" ranking.

Dr. Maggass enjoys golf, tending his yard and spending time with his wife and two children.
